Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 Review-2016

The Good Stylish design and nice looking, good price with compare to other same features bike. The brakes  component used here are steady and the suspension is a real pleasure. A very good feature is that the bike has a small exhaust pipe and is shielded by heat radiating coating, so it  does not provide heat shocks. The suspension used is mono adds for comfort.

The Bad   Very badly, Suzuki  did not upgrade the power nor the performance rate on the Gixxer SF, and the engine of the bike continues to produce 14.8PS of power and 14Nm of torque. And also The mill is coupled to the same 5-speed gearbox of the Gixxer, with no changes to the gear ratios. The height

The Bottom Line  Suzuki Bangladesh has launched its latest faired version of the Gixxer. Debuted as Gixxer SF, Suzuki is targeting the youth crowd or young generations.

Styling and Design

If we consider the part of looks, the Gixxer SF is more stylish and brawny design than compare to Gixxer especially at the front.

Our motor bike reviewer will go through on a brief overview of Suzuki’s new 150cc motorcycle, the Gixxer SF. Suzuki went a step ahead for the Gixxer SF by giving it a substantial fairing at the front for its nice and stunning sharp design.

The superior looking Suzuki Gixxer SF’s fairing designed to give maximum wind protection to the rider, reducing turbulence and drag, thereby delivering great aerodynamic efficiency.

Every piece of the new Gixxer SF is designed to provide a sporty and finest look – from its futuristic-looking aluminium exhaust end cover, new clear lens indicators and pinstripe on the wheels gives it an edgy look.

It has been coupled with a five-speed gearbox. It provides exceptional running performance with a broad low-end torque and dynamic mid-range power for strong acceleration that give thrilling and superb ride.

Suzuki Gixxer SF is available in three colours: Metallic Triton Blue (Special MotoGP Edition), Glass Sparkle Black, Pearl Mirage White.

RIDE AND HANDLING

The front 41mm telescopic forks and rear seven-step adjustable monoshock are adjusted perfectly for excellent ride and handling balance. There is also a disc brake at front and a drum brake at the rear. Suzuki have upgraded the Gixxer SF with a rear disc brake to adjust its good quality over the Gixxer in an even better way.

Note from our reviewer:

I purchased this bike on last day of January 2016.

the Gixxer SF is completely the same machine as the 155cc Gixxer. That is, all the cycle parts as well as body panels, including the fuel tank, side cowls, rear split pillion grab rails, LED tail lamps and front and rear fenders have been shared with the Gixxer on the Gixxer SF.

The full fairing is a combination of several panels bolted together, in case of a fall-down and breakage or cracking of the fairing. The Gixxer SF gets fairing mounted rear view mirrors, which are nicely styled and positioned for spot-on ergonomics.

The latest Suzuki Gixxer SF features has 155cc engine with have SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) and it can pumps out 14.8 BHP @ 8000 rpm and 14 NM of torque.  Suzuki claims that, it has the same chassis as does the Gixxer.

Actual milage of gixxer in city road: Normally mileage is 45 km/liter. In Dhaka city you might get around 40 km/liter.

Gixxer is the fully digital instrument console, which displays speedometer, tachometer, odometer, two trip meters, clock, gear indicator and an array of tell-tale lamps.

The ultra-light weight and punchy engine under the sleek fairing of the Gixxer SF has been powered with cutting edge SEP technology which enables the Gixxer SF to deliver great power without compromising fuel economy.

Bike mileage is very good when I purchase. I got some 62 per litre in high ways and 54 in city traffic. The backside sit feel really uncomfortable because of the height of the back seat. As my concern, a bike should satisfy any kind of people.

Service center availability is also a great negative point for Bangladesh.

To sum it up, the Suzuki Gixxer SF is a suitable answer to the prayers of all those motorcycle lovers, who were craving for a full faired motorcycle, but found the R15 a bit too expensive and aggressive in terms of dynamics. Agreed, it is not a track focused motorcycle with super-efficient dynamics like the R15, but is a motorcycle which is equally at home in slow traffic maneuverability and comfortable highway jaunts, making it a good sports tourer. Equipped with brilliant features and mechanicals as well as a rewarding engine, the Gixxer SF is easily one of the best value for money motorcycles. Moving over Gixxer, Suzuki indeed has another winner in its hands!
