২। পার্কিং করা, বাইক থেকে পা নামানোর আগে প্ল্যান করুন

বাইক পার্ক করার পুর্বে আপনাকে কিছু বিষয় মাথায় রাখতে হবে। যেখানে বাইকটি পার্ক করবেন সে জায়গাটি সমতল কিনা? কোন গর্ত বা ঢালু আছে কিনা? ইউ টার্ন নেওয়ার মত পর্যাপ্ত জায়গা আছে কিনা তা দেখে নিন।

যদি জায়গাটি সমতল না হয়, তবে অন্য কোথাও চলে যান। যেখানে সমতল বা কোন গর্ত নেই সেখানে পার্ক করুন, যেন বাইক গড়িয়ে কোথাও চলে না যায়।

পার্কিং এর জায়গা যদি একদিকে ঢালু থাকে, তাহলে উচু দিকে বাইক মুখ করে পার্ক করবেন। অবশ্যই বাইক থেকে যাওয়ার পুর্বে বাইকের গিয়ার এ রেখে যাবেন। তাহলে বাইক গড়িয়ে যাবে না।

৩। বাইক নিয়ে হাটুনঃ

মোটরসাইকেল এ বসে থেকে যদি দু পায়ে মাটি স্পর্শ করতে না পারেন, তবে বাইক নিয়ে বাইকের সাথে হাটুন। দুই হাত দিয়ে বাইকের গ্রিপ ভালোভাবে ধরুন এবং একপাশে একটু কাত করে বাইক নিয়ে হাটুন। হাটার পুর্বে আপনার মোটরসাইকেলের গিয়ার নিউট্রল করে নিন বা ক্লাচ ধরে বাইক নিয়ে হাটুন। আস্তে আস্তে বাইক নিয়ে হাটার সময় সামনের ফ্রন্ট ব্রেক ব্যবহার করুন।

আমি একবার বাইক নিয়ে পড়ে গিয়াছিলাম। আমি এমন এক জায়গায় বাইক দাড় করিয়েছি, যেখানে আমার পা নামিয়ে নিচে নামিয়ে মাটি ধরতে পারিনি। এরপর আর কি, পড়ে গেলাম। আমি কোথায় বাইক দাড় করাচ্ছি তা খেয়াল করি নি। অনেক সময় রাস্তার মাঝে বা পার্ক করার স্থানে অল্প গর্তের মত কিছু জায়গা থাকে। যার মধ্যে বাইকের দুই চাকা রাস্তার মধ্যে থাকে, আপনি থাকেন মধ্যস্থানে।

যেখানে কিছুটা গর্ত রয়েছে। এসব স্থানে বাইক দাড় করাবেন না। এতে ছোট দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে যেতে পারে, যা অস্বাভাবিক। সব সময় বাইক থামানোর পুর্বে লক্ষ রাখবেন আপনি কোথায় বাইক দাড় করাচ্ছেন।
