রাস্তায় প্রতিদিন আমরা সবাই চলাচল করলেও আমরা অনেকেই কিন্তু ট্র্যাফিক আইন সম্পর্কে তেমন একটা অবগত নেই । বিশেষ করে যারা নতুন মোটরসাইকেল চালক তাঁদের বেশিরভাগই এই ব্যাপারে সচেতন না ।
কিন্তু অনেক সময় এ কারণে রাস্তায় আপনাকে পড়তে হতে পারে আইনি ঝামেলায় এবং দিতে হতে পারে জরিমানা কিংবা জেল পর্যন্ত হতে পারে ।
চলুন তবে জেনে নেই, ট্র্যাফিক আইন এবং ট্র্যাফিক আইন ভঙ্গের বিভিন্ন শাস্তি এবং জরিমানা সম্পর্কে ১০ টি তথ্য –

১। হাইড্রোলিক হর্ন এর ব্যবহারঃ জরিমানা হতে পারে ১০০ টাকা [ ১৯৮৩ সালের মোটরযান আইনের ধারা নং-১৩৯ অনুযায়ী ]
২। ট্র্যাফিক পুলিশ এর আদেশ নাম মানলে এবং তথ্য প্রদানে অসংকোচ বোধ প্রকাশ করাঃ জরিমানা ৪০০ টাকা। [১৯৮৩ সালের মোটরযান আইনের ধারা নং-১৪০ (১) অনুযায়ী ]
৩। বিপরীত দিকে গাড়ি চালনা [ ওয়ানওয়ে রোডের ক্ষেত্রে ] জরিমানা-২০০ টাকা- [১৯৮৩ সালের মোটরযান আইনের ধারা নং-১৪০ (২) অনুযায়ী ]
৪। রাস্তায় উল্ল্যেখ করা গতির চাইতে দ্রুত গাড়ি চালনা করলে-জরিমানা ৩০০ টাকা – [ ধারা – ১৪২ ]
৫। নিরাপত্তাবিহীন অবস্থায় গাড়ি চালনা যেমন মোটরসাইকেল এর জন্য হেলমেট না পরিধান করা – জরিমানা ২৫০ থেকে ১৫০০ টাকা [ ধারাঃ ১৪৯ ]
৬। রেজিস্ট্রেশন বিহীন এবং ফিটনেস বিহীন গাড়ি চালনা / রুট পারমিট ব্যাতিত গাড়ি পরিচালনা-জরিমানা ১৫০০ টাকা এবং একই ভুল আবার করলে শাস্তির হার দ্বিগুণ – জরিমানা দিতে হবে ২৫০০ টাকা [ ধারা-১৫২ ]
৭। অতিরিক্ত কালো ধোঁয়া সৃষ্টি করলে – জরিমানা ২০০ টাকা [ ধারা ১৫০ ]
৮। নির্দিষ্ট ওজনের চাইতে বেশি মাল পরিবহণ করলে- জরিমানা ১০০০ টাকা – পুনরায় ভুল করলে জরিমানা-২০০০টাকা [ ধারা ১৫৪ ]
৯। বীমা ব্যাতিত গাড়ি চালানো – জরিমানা ৭৫০ টাকা [ ধারাঃ ১৫৫ ]
১০। প্রকাশ্য সড়কে বাধা সৃষ্টি করলে – জরিমানা ৫০০ টাকা [ ধারাঃ১৫৭]
