Overview
Yamaha Saluto is powered by a 125cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve engine that works with Blue Core technology. The power transmission engine motor is linked to a 4-speed gearbox and uses wet multi-plate clutch.
Bolted on a Diamond type frame, the bike features a halogen bulb headlight and the clear lens turn indicators are embedded on the visor.
The twin rear view mirrors are fitted on the handlebar. There is also a muscular fuel tank attached that provide an upright riding position to the rider. Furthermore, it is comfortable to the rider to ride on.
The instrument clusterconsole of the bike is easy to read and fully analogue. In the rear portion, Yamaha Saluto has a body colored grab rail and a tail lamp that suits to its overall personality. The rear clear lens turn blinkers are fitted just below the tail lamp.
Design & Features
The front fascia is similar to the beak of an eagle. At the front, it has a halogen bulb headlight and turn blinkers are mounted on the visor. The twin rear view mirrors are placed on the handlebar.
The instrument console of the bike is consists of an analogue speedometer, odometer and fuel gauge. It has been loaded with a fuel tank of 7.6 liters capacity that provide a smooth and upright riding posture to the rider.
On the rear portion, the bike has a body colored pillion grab rail and a sharply designed tail light. At the rear fender, it has a clear lens turn indicators and number plate section.
Built on a Diamond type frame, the bike has a body dimension of 2035 mm in length, 700 mm in width, 1080 mm in height and a wheelbase of 1265 mm that offers it respectable stance around the crowd.
It has a minimum ground clearance of 180 mm that ensures stability around the corners. The weight of the machine is 113 kgs.
Engine and Performance
Yamaha Saluto is has 125cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve engine along with Yamaha’s Blue Core technology. It has four-speed gearbox and is tuned to develop a maximum power of 8.18 bhp @ 7000 rpm along with a peak torque of 10.1 Nm @ 4500 rpm.
It has also been fitted with a 7.6 liters capacity of a fuel tank. And the mileage is 65 kmpl. The carbureted mill has a compression ratio of 10.0:1 and a power oriented bore x stroke ratio of 52.4 mm x 57.9 mm.

Braking and Handling
Yamaha Saluto runs on an 80/100-18 47P front and 80/100-18 54P rear tubeless tyres that are further mounted over an elegant 18-inch alloy wheels. The braking system has a 130 mm drum brakes at front and the rear, so, you can get a good stopping power in any condition.
It has also a telescopic fork as its front suspension and swingarm assisted mono shock absorber as its rear suspension.

The bike has a 12V,35/35W halogen bulb headlight for a good night view. Moreover, it has tubeless tyres that have a good grip on the.
