  • যখন আপনার বাইকটি রিজার্ভার এ আসে, তখন ট্রিপ মিটার টি ফিক্স করুন ।
  • এবার ফুয়েল পাম্প এ গিয়ে ১ লিটার পেট্রোল নিন।
  • যতক্ষণ আপনার বাইকটি পুনরায় রিজার্ভার এ না আসে, ততক্ষন চালান । এবার দেখুন কত মিটার চলেছে।

এভাবেই আপনি আপনার ট্রিপ মিটার থেকে মাইলেজ এর হিসাব পেতে পারেন।

একই পদ্ধতি কয়েকবার অনুসরণ করার পর সবগুলি হিসাবের একটি গড় করবেন আর তাহলেই পেয়ে যাবেন আপনার বাইকের সঠিক মাইলেজ।

একটি বিষয় মনে রাখতে হবে, তা হল পুরো বিষয়টি কিন্তু, ট্রাফিক এর অবস্থা, যে রাস্তায় আপনি মোটরসাইকেল চালাচ্ছেন তার অবস্থা এসবের উপর অনেকখানি নির্ভর করে। এছাড়া, আপনি বাইকটি কিভাবে চালাচ্ছেন আর কতটা এর প্রতি যত্নশীল এসবের উপরও নির্ভর করে। আপনি কিভাবে এর ব্রেক বা আক্সিলারেসানগুলি ব্যাবহার করেছেন, কত দ্রুতটায় চালাচ্ছেন এসব কিছুই কিন্তু মাথায় রাখতে হবে আপনার মাইলেজ এর হিসাব করার সময়।

যদি আপনার রিজার্ভার না থাকে, তাহলে আপনাকে অন্যভাবে মাইলেজের হিসাব করতে আপনি একটি বোতলে ১ লিটার পেট্রোল নিবেন আর ফুয়েল ট্যাঙ্কটি স্বাভাবিকভাবে খালি হতে দিন। অন্যভাবেও আপনি ফুয়েলট্যাঙ্কটি খালি করতে পারেন এবং ১ লিটার পেট্রোলই ভরবেন।

১লিটার পেট্রোল ভরার পর বর্তমান কিলোমিটার রিডিং(কিলোমিটার ১)টি নিবেন । আপনার সাথে অবশ্যই অতিরিক্ত ফুয়েল রাখবেন যাতে ফুয়েল শেষ হয়ে গেলে আপনি বাইকটি আবার চালাতে পারেন। বাইকটি চালিয়ে যখন প্রথম ১ লিটার শেষ হয়ে যাবে এবার কিলোমিটার রিডিং (কিলোমিটার ২) টি নিবেন । এবার ২য় রিডিং আর ১ম রিডিং এর পার্থক্যই হল আপনার মাইলেজ । একই পদ্ধতি কয়েকবার অনুসরণ করার পর সবগুলি হিসাবের একটি গড় করবেন আর তাহলেই আপনার বাইকের সঠিক মাইলেজটি বের হবে। তবে, এই মাইলেজ পরীক্ষা যতটা সম্ভব স্বাভাবিক ট্রাফিক অবস্থায় করার চেষ্টা করবেন ।

এছাড়াও আরও যে উপায়ে মাইলেজ এর হিসাব করা যাবেঃ

আপনি জানেন যে, যেসব বাইক ফুয়েল এ চলে সেসব বাইকে ১ লিটার ব্যবহার করা যায়না কারণ এতে ফুয়েল পাম্প এর ক্ষতি হয়। এজন্য এবার আপনি ফুয়েল ট্যাঙ্কটি পরিপূর্ণ করে ট্যাঙ্কটি খালি না হওয়া পর্যন্ত বাইক চালিয়ে তারপর মাইলেজের হিসাব করতে পারেন। গাণিতিক হিসাব টি খুবই সহজ।

এটি মাইলেজ হিসাব করার সবচেয়ে সঠিক পদ্ধতি। যদিও এটি একটি খরচান্ত ব্যাপার কিন্তু এই পদ্ধতির মাধ্যমে আপনি সবচেয়ে সঠিক হিসাবটি পাবেন, আবার আপনার ফুয়েল পাম্প এর ক্ষতি হওয়ার সম্ভাবনাও থাকবে না। যদি আপনার বাইক ফুয়েল ইঞ্জেকটেড হয় তাহলে, আপনি পুরো খালি কখনই করতে পারবেন না । তাই, ট্যাঙ্কটি পুরোটাই ভরে নিয়ে বাইক চালান যত কিলোমিটার সম্ভব।
