Bajaj Pulsar AS150 motorcycle is the younger adventure series motorcycle with a 149.5cc engine. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and uses twin spark technology instead of the triple spark from the AS200. It uses the same frame, body panels and front projector headlight while comes equipped with a single disc brake and smaller section tyres.

The engine of Pulsar 150 AS is a tuned version of the current 150 cc, this one will also feature on the Pulsar 150NS. It produces 16.8 BHP @ 9500 rpm & 13 NM @ 7000 rpm. The AS150 has a 5-speed manual gearbox.

          The performance has significantly increased from the last version of 150 cc engine and the values are matching those of the current 180 DTS-i. Power of 180 cc in a 150 cc will definitely attract more number of fans for the new AS150.

Brakes & Suspension

Major difference seen is the smaller tires and non-availability of rear disc brake. Braking is restricted to a single disc brake measuring 240 mm for the front with a130 mm drum braking system at the rear. Front is using 37 mm telescopic forks with anti-friction bush and the rear has a mono shock absorber with piggy back canister.
